Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out if you have any questions!

If you go to your Pine Cove account, your contract should tell you exactly when you show up! You can also check out our Training Week + Orientation tab to see if your particular job needs to be trained. If you still need clarity, text a full time person!

THAT'S SO OK!! A large handful of our staff every year have never stepped foot on Pine Cove property until they worked here over the summer! You don't need to be a former camper to jump in and have the summer of your life here at the Shores.

Hooray - you get 24 hours off each week from Noon on Saturday to Noon on Sunday!

If you have a commitment outside of those 24 hours off: just like any other job, you have to ask for specific days off from your boss & get it approved in order to leave.

As a general rule of thumb: very few events qualify for time off outside of the weekend. (We only have our campers on property 6 days and we're only here for 6-12 weeks, so we want to make the most out of it and stay present!)

If you are stressed or have questions about this, reach out to Lane or Amour!

You have about 24 hours off each weekend (noon Saturday to noon Sunday). You can do laundry, hang with family/ friends, and explore the great city of Tyler- shop at Target, watch a movie, go to a coffee shop, play on the turf field with other staffers, have a three on three tournament in the Huma, etc.

Good Q! Halftime will take place on June 27th. This is when first half ends and second half begins! We will need everyone at camp on the 27th so first half can pass the baton to second half. We will have some training refreshers, some reflection time and enjoy a meal together!
